Pre/Post Natal Maternal Mental Health Screenings
In order to support mothers throughout the stress and unknown waters of birth, these assessments help mother's by assessing their well being and providing beneficial resources
Fathers + Partners
Resources, information and support to help empower expecting fathers, and partners feel confident in assisting, comforting and being present for new mothers, throughout pregnancy and birth
Lactation Support
Education, resources, tips, workshops and support to help educate mothers on the benefits of breastfeeding as well as methods to help educate mothers and partners on latching techniques, equipment, and understanding how the body works to facilitate a pleasant and productive feeding experience for mom and baby.
Doula Services
Birth In Color uses experience and evidence-based information to educate, train and certify their team of over 100 certified doulas all over Virginia to assist, support and be present with mothers in a wide range of maternity situations.
